Privacy Policy
What we collect
- What you give us: the brand name you want scanned, your email address (if you provide one at checkout), and, for the Audit + Competitors tier, up to 3 competitor brand names.
- What we scan: publicly available online mentions of the brand name you specify (public web pages, review sites, and similar public sources), used to generate your report. We do not scan private, login-gated, or non-public content.
- Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — only a payment reference used to fulfill and, if needed, refund your order.
Who else processes data on our behalf
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Sentry — error monitoring for our own service reliability. Sentry is configured to not receive default personal data (PII stripping enabled).
- Resend — sending transactional emails (report delivery, refund notifications, login links).
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on the free-scan form, when enabled.
How we use it
To generate the report or scan you requested, process your payment, prevent abuse of the free-scan form (rate limiting and bot checks), and email you your results or download link. We do not sell your data.
Retention and deletion
Download links for purchased reports are designed to expire 90 days after purchase. We do not currently offer an automated self-serve data deletion tool. To request deletion of your information, contact us at the email address provided in your purchase confirmation and we will process the request manually.
Security
We follow standard security practices for handling your data, including never logging payment credentials or full personal data in plain text, and verifying Stripe webhook signatures before processing payment events.
